Justin Pratt was born and raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest.  As a second child, he first found music appealing watching his older brother learn the piano.  In his late grade school to early middle school years, Justin took up piano lessons as well as joined the middle school band to learn the cornet/trumpet.  Being in band, Justin was expanding his scope of music he enjoyed.  From Classical, to Classic Rock, Folk, and Pop, he began learning the basics of each.  Continuing his cornet playing through high school, he eventually learned about live sound a few years after he graduated and really became intrigued with music.  For about 2 years Justin ran sound for his church youth group and eventually started helping run live sound for the main congregation.  It was at this point Justin started buying his first professional sound system and DJ equipment to which he still has today. Since then, Justin has done everything from run/mix live sound for a small Christian Rock band, to some entry-level DJing.  In 2008, Justin married the love of his life.  After moving a few different times, they finally settled in the Portland metro area in 2019. Most recently, Justin has received his Associate Degree in the Music Production program through LA Film School where he excelled with a 4.0 GPA (highest honors).  Since graduating, Justin has re-enrolled at LA Film School, working towards his Bachelor of Science in Audio Production.  Some of Justin’s inspirations are Mike Shinoda, Michael Jackson, N’Sync, Hillsong, Rebecca St. James, Jeremy Camp, and Timbaland.  He recently released his fourth single called Dance Like No One Is Watching which is available now on his website (this site) and most streaming platforms.  Although Justin isn’t set on any genre at this point, he is really into Hip Hop, Pop, Dance, and Electronic music.  With a continued passion to immerse himself in the music industry and help others, Justin is pushing himself to be a rising force in the music industry.
